Art Activities for Kids:

A Fun and Easy Valentine Bouquet

Fun art activities for kids that are easy and fun to make like this Valentine bouquet will inspire creativity and learning. We had a great time making all of our Valentine goodies this year and the great thing about it many of our projects were expanded to make other homemade Valentines day gifts.

This project is one that combines two of our other Valentines activities for children to make a fun gift or centerpiece. You'll want to take a look at our Valentine's Day Bookmarks and Valentine's Cup Craft to complete this Valentine art activity.

Also, this Valentine activity offers great opportunities for learning. I have to throw that out there since enhancing skills is what we are all about!

During this Valentine craft activity, we talked about the heart shape and we counted hearts. We also discussed the concept of "sticky" as we worked with stickers.

Valentine Crafts

What You'll Need:

1. Two to three Valentine's day bookmarks

2. One Valentine's cup

3. Scissors

4. Glue

5. Shredded Paper

What You'll Do:

1. Turn cup upside down

2. Cut slits in the bottom of the cup

3. Slide one bookmark into each slit

4. Glue shredded paper around base to hide slits

Remember let your preschooler participate as much as possible. This helps them develop creativity and problem solving skills. Also, most of our project pictures are child produced so you have a better idea of what to expect. You will want to complete the cutting part of the project and your preschooler can do the decorating.
